Yesterday, I wrote about a wonderful small business I bought candles from — how much heart it had and how much pride went into its products. Today, I had my own moment to “toot my own horn.”
A Chance Meeting
Because the rain had washed out our 4th of July barbecue plans, my family and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. While waiting for my husband and son, I noticed a young woman at a nearby table who glanced at me a few times.
Later in the evening, she got up to leave but instead of walking toward the exit, she walked right over to our table.
She smiled and introduced herself: she had just received an order of Sans Skincare products in the mail.
Words That Made My Night
Of course, I asked if she was happy with her order. Her face lit up, she told me she loved everything she received, that each product felt special. She thanked me and began to walk away . . . but then she turned back.
