Tip From the Experts: Rhassoul Clay and Beautiful, Golden Honey

Rhassoul Clay and Raw Honey! Yup, that’s what I said HONEY. I’ve talked about honey and its amazing benefits for the skin, I’ll be talking further about it’s benefits in my post for tomorrow. Rhassoul Clay is the relatively unknown secret weapon of the high-end spa industry. Its ability to deal with 40+ skin is really unequaled. Rhassoul contains naturally high levels of skin-loving, beneficial minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron. Used regularly, Rhassoul Clay can improve skin tone, texture, elasticity, and clarity while eliminating dryness and flakiness.

As you age, your skin often does not retain the necessary trace minerals to keep it firm and wrinkle free. The high concentration of natural minerals in Rhassoul, help replenish depleted minerals in your skin, resulting in a firmer, plumper, and more even-toned complexion. Clinical testing has shown Rhassoul to be effective in improving skin elasticity, unclogging pores, and removing dead skin cells and excess surface oils.

So, what happens when you combine the amazing benefits of pure, raw honey with Moroccan Rhassoul Clay? Well, this dynamic duo really cannot be beaten. Just as an FYI, we will very soon be offering pure, raw honey for just this purpose! Our honey is lovingly provided to you by our very, very busy bees. We will be collecting the honey from our hives sometime after July 4th, so please stay tuned!

Here is our tip, so worthy of a share and definitely worth trying

For this application, you will use about 2 teaspoons of our lovely ochre-colored Rhassoul Clay. Put the powder into a small bowl. Into this bowl add about a teaspoon of beautiful, golden, raw honey. You may have to play around with it a bit in order to bring the clay-honey mixture to an easily spreadable consistency. You don’t want it to be too pasty or too drippy. It’s important to get the consistency right so it stays on your face. Once you have applied it, relax, grab a good book and read for about 20 minutes! You want to give the clay-honey mixture ample time to work its magic on your skin. After 20 minutes, rinse well with warm water. Now gently pat dry. You may want to follow with our Nourish Face Serum or Whipped Face Butter. Your skin will feel amazing. We tried it and loved this tip! You can bet we’ll be using this combo often!
