This liquid is a very subtle and volatile essence that exudes from the damaged tissues of the leaf. The plant immediately sends this amazing liquid to the damage point. In this “oil” being released from the plant, are found trace elements of nutrients, hormones, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, antibodies, and immune-stimulating properties. Another key agent found in that oil is oxygen. It is the plant's "healing" oils sent to that spot to begin the healing process. The plant releases the oil in order to clean the break, kill bacteria, and start the regeneration process, the oil is the transporter of the fundamental nutrients necessary to feed and nurture the cells. This essential oil has the ability, in its chemical structure, to penetrate the plant's cell wall and transport oxygen and nutrients inside the cell, thus increasing cellular oxygen and giving more support to the immune system.
The essential oils that we extract from plants work in a very similar way when applied to our skin. The oils with their healing properties will penetrate our skin and rush their nutrients to feed and nurture our cells. Research has shown that with their immune-stimulating properties, essential oils enhance and support the building of our immune system, whether they are inhaled or rubbed on the body topically.
