Bentonite Clay Mask
Perfect mask for those who are fighting oily skin that breaks out. Great for spot treatments too! Bentonite is a combination of volcanic ash and montmorillonite originally found in Fort Benton, Wyoming. It is very highly absorbent and powerfully draws oils and toxins from the skin. Bentonite Clay is one of the most powerful healing clays. It is unique in that it carries a strong negative charge which bonds to the positive charge in many toxins. When it comes in contact with a toxin, chemical or heavy metal, the clay will absorb the toxin and release its minerals for the body to use.

Mix 1/2 teaspoon powder with warm water (you will use much more water than powder) until powder is spreadable. Add more water as needed. The powder is hard to mix, the consistency will be like oatmeal. Apply to damp skin, avoiding eye area. Let dry 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, pat dry. Apply Whipped Face Butter to moisturize. Use once a week.
* Clay masks will increase oxygenation and blood circulation to the skin. This can sometimes create redness and feel a bit itchy, this is normal and is not harmful. If you are experiencing an active outbreak of rosacea or any form of heightened sensitivity or burn, wait until the area has calmed before treating with clay.

▫️ Great for spot treatments! Just dab a light layer onto the pimple before bedtime. Leave on overnight.
▫️ If you have an oily "T Zone" try using the Bentonite Clay Mask only on that area. Use a less absorbent clay like the Rhassoul Clay Mask or the French Rose Clay Mask for the drier areas of your skin.
▫️ Make sure you moisturize after using this mask. Even if you have oily skin.
